Resin Line Marking — Warehouse & Industrial Floor Demarcation

Line marking turns a floor into a functional operational asset — clear aisles, defined pedestrian routes, numbered racking, safe MHE crossings and colour-coded hazard zones. F Wilding Ltd installs high-durability resin line marking and floor demarcation nationwide, as part of a full resin flooring installation or as a standalone visit to an existing floor.

Materials we use

We specify cold-plastic (MMA) resin line marking where longevity is critical — trafficked warehouse aisles, forklift crossings, external yards. Cold plastic is broadcast with anti-slip aggregate, cures in 30–60 minutes and lasts many times longer than paint. For lower-traffic areas, offices and short-term markings we use specialist two-pack floor paints, which are more cost-effective and available in a wider colour range.

  • Cold-plastic (MMA) line marking — trafficked aisles, external, long life
  • Two-pack epoxy / PU floor paint — internal, lower traffic, wider colour choice
  • Anti-slip broadcast for walkways and ramps
  • Photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark) safety strips
  • Full HSE-compliant colour scheme (yellow aisles, white bays, red hazards etc.)

Typical demarcation schemes

Most sites we mark up follow a similar HSE-driven pattern: yellow for pedestrian walkways and safe routes, white for aisles and racking bays, red or hatched red-and-white for hazards, no-go zones and fire equipment, blue for one-way traffic and MHE-only. We work from your existing floor plan or produce one from a site survey, mark out with chalk and tape for client sign-off before applying any resin, and can add numbered racking-bay stencilling and pictogram symbols.

Fitting it around a live warehouse

We mark most warehouses out of hours — nights, weekends and shutdowns. Cold-plastic cures in under an hour so racking, pallets and MHE can be back on the floor almost immediately. Where the whole site can't be closed at once we phase the work aisle by aisle. We can also programme demarcation alongside a resin floor installation so both are complete in a single mobilisation.

Systems we install

Cold-plastic (MMA)

Long-life aisle and hazard marking — cures in 60 minutes, lasts 5–10 years under forklift traffic.

Two-pack floor paint

Cost-effective internal marking for lower-traffic areas and offices.

Anti-slip stripes

MMA broadcast with anti-slip aggregate for ramps, walkways and wet areas.

Frequently asked questions

How long does line marking last?+

Cold-plastic (MMA) marking under normal warehouse traffic lasts 5–10 years. Floor paint in lower-traffic areas typically lasts 2–4 years. External markings weather faster.

Can you mark over an existing painted floor?+

Yes — provided the existing coating is sound and bonded. We check with a bond test before quoting. Where the existing paint is failing we recommend removal and re-coat first.

Can you work around a live operation?+

Almost every project we run is on a working site. We phase installs by bay, aisle or zone, work nights and weekends where required, and specify fast-cure MMA or polyaspartic systems on jobs where a single continuous shutdown isn't possible.

Do you cover the whole UK?+

Yes. F Wilding Ltd is Essex-based but the majority of our contracts are outside the South East — London, the Midlands, the North West, Yorkshire, the North East, Wales, Scotland and the South West. Travel, accommodation and out-of-hours access are priced into every quote.
