Quartz Resin Flooring

Quartz Resin Flooring — Broadcast Quartz Epoxy & PU Systems

Quartz resin flooring uses a coloured natural or ceramic-coated quartz aggregate broadcast into an epoxy or polyurethane basecoat to give a decorative, hard-wearing, slip-resistant seamless floor. F Wilding Ltd installs quartz systems in epoxy, PU and MMA nationwide for food, healthcare, retail, workshops and public spaces.

What is quartz resin flooring?

The system is a primer, a self-smoothing basecoat, a broadcast layer of coloured quartz to full refusal, and a clear resin sealer. Total build 3–6 mm depending on quartz grade.

Where it's used

Food production, commercial kitchens, healthcare (wet rooms, showers), retail units, workshops, corridors, showrooms and any environment that benefits from both a decorative finish and enhanced slip resistance.

Key benefits

Why UK commercial and industrial specifiers choose quartz resin flooring for their sites:

  • Wide coloured quartz range and blends
  • Excellent slip resistance
  • Hygienic — seamless, coved detailing
  • Chemical & impact resistant
  • Suitable for wet & dry areas
  • Long service life (15+ years)

Our installation approach

Every install starts with a free site survey to confirm the substrate is fit for the specified system. We mechanically prepare the concrete (diamond grinding, shot blasting or scabbling depending on the resin), install any DPM, primers and repairs required, apply the resin build-up in coats to the specified thickness, and hand over with a written warranty and maintenance schedule. Nationwide, with experienced resin flooring teams.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between flake and quartz systems?+

Flake is a decorative vinyl chip broadcast for aesthetics — largely smooth once sealed. Quartz is a hard mineral aggregate broadcast for slip resistance and durability — the finished surface has a distinct texture.

Which resin is the quartz laid in — epoxy, PU or MMA?+

All three, depending on requirements. Epoxy for ambient dry areas, PU for wet/thermal, MMA for rapid-cure installs.

What warranty do you provide?+

A written 5-year product-and-installation warranty is standard on all supply-and-install projects. Some systems (PU screeds, MMA) can be extended to 7–10 years subject to specification and client maintenance regime.

Do you cover the whole UK?+

Yes. F Wilding Ltd is Essex-based but the majority of our contracts are outside the South East — London, the Midlands, the North West, Yorkshire, the North East, Wales, Scotland and the South West. Travel, accommodation and out-of-hours access are priced into every quote.
