Anti-Slip Resin Flooring — Specialist Slip-Resistant Systems
Slip resistance is one of the most common — and most litigated — floor safety issues. An anti-slip resin floor delivers measurably high pendulum test values while remaining seamless, cleanable and hygienic. F Wilding Ltd installs anti-slip resin flooring nationwide across food, wet processing, healthcare, kitchens, ramps and walkways.
What is anti-slip resin flooring?
Anti-slip resin systems broadcast graded aggregate (aluminium oxide, ceramic quartz or silicon carbide) into a wet resin basecoat, sealed with one or two clear top coats. The aggregate grade is chosen to match the required pendulum test value (PTV) — typically PTV >36 dry / >36 wet for HSE compliance in wet areas.
Where it's used
Commercial kitchens, food preparation and wet areas, brewery floors, wet-processing rooms, healthcare wet rooms, ramps, external walkways, loading bays, MOT wash-down bays.
Key benefits
Why UK commercial and industrial specifiers choose anti-slip resin flooring for their sites:
- Pendulum-tested PTV values >36
- Available in epoxy, PU and MMA base resins
- Seamless & hygienic
- Aggregate grade tuned to slip risk
- Cleanable — no crevices
- Certificated pendulum test reports on request
Our installation approach
Every install starts with a free site survey to confirm the substrate is fit for the specified system. We mechanically prepare the concrete (diamond grinding, shot blasting or scabbling depending on the resin), install any DPM, primers and repairs required, apply the resin build-up in coats to the specified thickness, and hand over with a written warranty and maintenance schedule. Nationwide, with experienced resin flooring teams.
Frequently asked questions
How anti-slip is anti-slip?+
We specify to the PTV target you need. Standard walkway anti-slip is PTV 36+ wet; heavy kitchen and food areas typically 45–60+; ramps and external inclines can be pushed above 70. We provide pendulum test certification on request.
Doesn't anti-slip make the floor harder to clean?+
More textured floors need mechanical (scrubber-dryer) cleaning rather than a mop. In exchange you get real, measurable slip safety and a floor that stays safe when it's wet.
What warranty do you provide?+
A written 5-year product-and-installation warranty is standard on all supply-and-install projects. Some systems (PU screeds, MMA) can be extended to 7–10 years subject to specification and client maintenance regime.
Do you cover the whole UK?+
Yes. F Wilding Ltd is Essex-based but the majority of our contracts are outside the South East — London, the Midlands, the North West, Yorkshire, the North East, Wales, Scotland and the South West. Travel, accommodation and out-of-hours access are priced into every quote.
