Concrete Repairs — Substrate Reinstatement Before Resin Flooring
A resin floor can only be as flat, sound and level as the substrate underneath it. Where the concrete has spalled, been hacked out, is uneven or has surface damage, we repair the concrete first so the finished resin floor is what you specified. F Wilding Ltd carries out full concrete repair services UK-wide as part of resin flooring installations and as a standalone service.
What is concrete repairs?
We use a range of repair mortars: polymer-modified cementitious repairs for standard patches; fast-cure epoxy or MMA-based repair mortars where the substrate needs to be back in service quickly; free-flowing self-levelling repair screeds for larger patches; feather-edge repairs for shallow surface damage.
Where and when we use it
Anywhere the substrate needs work before resin can be installed: spalled slabs, hacked-out patches after plant removal, unfilled crane bases, damaged loading bay edges, deteriorated concrete around drainage.

Frequently asked questions
Can you repair concrete and lay resin the same visit?+
Yes — using fast-cure MMA-based repair mortars, damaged concrete can be repaired and the resin floor installed over the top in a single continuous shift.
Can you work around a live operation?+
Almost every project we run is on a working site. We phase installs by bay, aisle or zone, work nights and weekends where required, and specify fast-cure MMA or polyaspartic systems on jobs where a single continuous shutdown isn't possible.
Do you cover the whole UK?+
Yes. F Wilding Ltd is Essex-based but the majority of our contracts are outside the South East — London, the Midlands, the North West, Yorkshire, the North East, Wales, Scotland and the South West. Travel, accommodation and out-of-hours access are priced into every quote.
